The Journal of Scientific Social Studies is a peer reviewed (refereed) journal that focuses on the advances in the social sciences and humanities in the 21st century. TJSSS is published online by ATERA. TJSS is a quarterly open-access journal and all the papers will be published on this page. The journal accepts submissions from all academicians and practitioners in the field. The Suggested paper format is provided here (APA referencing) and authors should submit their papers via email to with the subject line “Paper submission TJSSS 2017/2.”

Title: The Journal of Scientific Social Studies

Scope: Applied Social Sciences particularly areas related to new technology applications including internet and society, social media, new technology and education, technology use in business settings, culture and new social dynamics and etc.

edi2Adam Acar, PhD, worked as a brand equity consultant for several global brands operating in Japan and lectured at Kobe University, Kansai University and the Graduate school of International University of Japan. He is the author of several social-network related papers including “The antecedents of social networking behavior” and “Twitter usage during the Great Tohoku earthquake.” His seminal book “Culture and Social Media: An Elementary Textbook” has been used in different institutions all around the world.

edi1Jinho Choi, received his PhD from KAIST Graduate School of Management, Korea, and has so far published dozens of papers related to information technologies and business development. His research interests include Business Development, Design Thinking, Complex systems, Techno-Economic Analysis, Behavioral research of Information Systems: cloud computing and Online user experience data analysis.


Iuon-Chang Lin received the Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Engineering in March 2004 from National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan. His current research interests include cryptography, IoT security and applications, and data security. Dr. Lin has published over 70+ articles on the above research fields in international journals. In addition, he has written six textbooks, including an “Introduction to Information and Network Security,” which is one of the best-selling book for the beginners of information security in Taiwan.
